All tax-deductible donations received by Anodos Academy in 2025 are matched 7-to-1 by the Derek and Jessica Balsley Family.
If you donate $10, they’ll contribute $70.
If you donate $100, they’ll contribute $700.
If you donate 1,000, they’ll contribute $7,000.

Yes.
Donations are made to Anodos, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation registered in Iowa (EIN: 39-2180445).
All contributions are deductible for U.S. federal income tax purposes under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code and per Iowa Code.

Matching funds from the Balsley family are pledged in writing and will be contributed proportionally, on a quarterly basis, as public donations are received.

You can the option of giving to various funds at Anodos Academy including the “Save Washington Project”, “Anodos Homeschool”, and “Anodos Academy General Fund.”
When not specifically designated, donations are directed toward Anodos Academy General Fund and used for a variety of programs, scholarships, operations, and restoration of the historic Washington School campus. -
